European Supercar Driving Vacations for US Drivers

A luxury road trip through Portugal: seven nights on Europe's finest driving roads, five-star hotels and a Formula One finale at Portimão. Drive the latest supercars through Renisetté, or have your own car shipped over.

An Exotic Car Tour of Europe, Handled End to End

Renisetté designs European driving vacations for people who would rather drive than plan. Routes, hotels, dining, luggage, lead vehicle and support crew are all handled, so the only thing left to decide is which road to enjoy next.

Our flagship for 2027 is the Portugal Grand Prix Supercar Tour: from Porto and the Douro Valley over the Serra da Estrela to the Atlantic coast at Comporta, finishing on the Algarve for Formula One's return to Portimão.

Most of our US clients hire through Renisetté: the chance to drive the latest supercars, delivered to the starting hotel and collected at the end, with none of the logistics. If you would rather drive your own car, we can ship it from the US.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the Portugal tour start and finish?

The Portugal Grand Prix Supercar Tour begins in Porto and Vila do Conde in the north and finishes with three nights in Portimão on the Algarve. Porto (OPO) is reachable from the US via direct seasonal flights from some gateways or connections through Lisbon and other European hubs; Faro (FAO) is the closest airport to Portimão for your flight home. Check current schedules with your airline.

When is the tour?

14–21 June 2027: seven nights, finishing with the Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimão on 19–20 June 2027.

How much does it cost?

From €25,980 per person with your own supercar. Supercar hire is available from €13,800 to €31,500 depending on the car. Prices are in euros; your card issuer or bank will apply its own exchange rate.

Can I drive in Portugal with a US driver's license?

Under current Portuguese rules, visitors with a valid US license can generally drive for up to 185 days. The US State Department notes that an International Driving Permit (IDP) can be obtained from AAA, and hire providers may ask for one, so we suggest carrying both. Please check the latest requirements before you travel.

Is there a minimum driver age?

Yes. All drivers must be aged 26 or over. Hire providers may apply their own license, deposit and insurance conditions.

Can I ship my own car to Europe for the tour?

Yes. Renisetté can arrange for your own car to be shipped from the US for the tour; speak to us early and we will talk you through the options. Most of our US clients choose to hire through Renisetté instead: you get to drive the latest supercars, delivered to the starting hotel, with far less hassle.

Do most US guests hire a car?

Yes. Most of our US clients hire through Renisetté. Hire cars range from €13,800 to €31,500 depending on the car, and are delivered to the starting hotel and collected at the end of the tour.

Can my partner join without driving?

Yes. Passengers are welcome, and the Passenger Spa Package lets non-drivers skip selected driving days and travel directly to the next hotel.

Can you build a private European driving vacation on other dates?

Yes. We design bespoke private supercar tours across Europe around your dates, cars, hotels and group.
